three musicals for free #incentives

Right after my Budapest trip, it was quite hard to get back to the reality of the office... :(

However, there was still something exciting and new I was invited to join - a series of musical nights... 3 in 8 days ! Let me explain this.

Axis and Globe Travel, is a well-established UK inbound agency so we often receive free theatre tickets from the supplier AKA. The competition is tough for this company as Encore Tickets also provides good deals. For this reason, both try to 'seduce' Tour Operators as much as they can with these types of incentives.

Normally, my colleagues don't miss the opportunity to go to central London to watch a musical for free (Note : transport is paid by our boss). However, most of them are going on holidays... so the tickets are left...to the interns ! In fact, Miriam, the intern of the account department, and I, we were both more than welcome 'to represent' Axis and Globe ;)

On Monday, we went to see High Society at the Old Vic, a theatre near Waterloo station.

+ : it was a circle stage so we could have different views and the singers were really good at performing dances from the 30's !

On Thursday, we had the chance to experience the preview of Bend It Like Beckham, near Leicester Square, which is the London Theatreland as all the major theatres are around this area.

- : quite cheesy since the story is about an Indian teenager who wants to play football rather than marry someone and stay at home to cook samosas hahaha

Tomorrow, we will finish this musical - crawl with Billy Elliot. Being one of the best musicals, I think we will love it ! What do you think ?
