Time for tea (and champagne) at Brown's #5*hotel

Everything started from Laura (a colleague) who was exceptionnaly looking for a 5 * hotel as her client had requested an option at one of the finest hotels in London... So she managed to get in touch with the Senior Sales Manager of the Brown's Hotel in order to discuss group rates.

After that kind of negotiation, they generally keep your contact details to invite you at their annual party. In fact, in order to make business, they organize a fancy tea (and champagne) time and invite all the DMCs (Destination Management Companies in other words Inbound Tour Operators) they have been in contact with.

So here we are, generously invited at Brown's ! Perfectly situated to get right into the heart of the luxurous London : Fortnum & Mason. Bond Street boutiques. Dover Street market. The Royal Academy of Arts. Savile Row or Soho's bonhomie... There is plenty to graciously admire !

Well, I think you can picture the all package now !!! Hahahaha

Once arrived and gently welcomed by the doorman (raising his hat and bending... of course!), we were invited to join the English Tea Room... where a range of mini scones, cup cakes, macarons but also salmon toasts, cucumber and mint sandwiches, scotch eggs had been meticulously prepared by a chef !

No wonder why Queen Victoria and Winston Churchill were among those who loved to take tea at Browns !

Anyway, we spent a great night and a colleague even won a night-stay in a private suite for 2 people with English breakfast! In fact, it is common to put your business card in a bowl and at the end they pick up one to offer a special incentive ;)

Check out a video of an anonymous guest having tea there !

The size of a hard boiled egg, with chocolate shell !

Believe it or not...
